Charlie is a lifelong golfer, traveler, and business executive with deep roots in Guatemala and Central America. With decades of leadership experience spanning the travel, tourism, transportation, and hospitality industries, he brings an insider’s understanding of the region—and the relationships and local knowledge needed to create exceptional travel experiences.
As Co-Founder of Trip18, Charlie combines that experience with his passion for golf and travel to create something different: thoughtfully designed golf journeys that go well beyond the course.
For Charlie, Trip18 is also about making travel personal. He believes guests should know who is behind their trip and have access to a real person when they need advice, have a question, or simply want a local recommendation.
James “Jimmy” Rogers

Jimmy brings extensive experience in travel and tourism to Trip18, along with an intimate knowledge of Guatemala and Central America developed through years of working within the region’s tourism industry.
His experience gives Trip18 something that goes far beyond simply booking hotels, tee times, and transportation: a deep understanding of how to build and operate memorable travel experiences from the ground up.
At Trip18, Jimmy helps bring together the people, places, logistics, and local relationships that transform a golf trip into a complete Central American experience.
Together with Charlie and the Trip18 team, his goal is simple: make every guest feel that their trip is being handled by people who know the destination, understand the details, and are personally invested in making the experience exceptional.
